La respuesta de los holandeses que andan por ahí con una Iveco 4x4, han pasado por Siria hace muy poco y sin entretenerse. Libia imposible.

We have tried to go from Tunesia through Libya to get to Egypt,
however a visa was denied, so we went back with the ferry from Tunis
to Genua Italy and drove from there through Greece and Turkey to the
border of Syria (without a visa).
When we arrived at the border of Syria they welcomed us and we could
buy a visa easily at the border (Kilili if I remember well)
We did not hang out the tourist in Syria as we were not sure about the
situation then, but we drove through Syria on the highway, met
wonderful friendly people, in one day to the border of Jordan (Dara).
From Jordan we took the ferry in Aqaba to Nuweiba in Egypt which is a
perfectly nice friendly and good border crossing. No hasseling, only
friendly people again. Our visa for Egypt we obtained at the Egyptian
Embassy in Aqaba, without any troubels (bring in the morning your
passport, collect it again in the afternoon)
In Aswan we got our visa without problems for Sudan and now we are in
Khartoum where we have obtained our visa for Ethiopia without any
problem (same day)
We love Sudan, although the country itself has little to offer, we
enjoy the beauty and friendliness of the Sudanese people who are
amazing! We will leave tomorrow for the Ethiopian border.
 
So for us we have not encountered any problem at all obtaining visa in
neighbouring countries. We would advise to not buy all your visa at
home as they may be expired before you are here, but that may differ
from country of origin we do not know.
